Rachel was used to being the center of attention. After all, who could take their eyes off a rack like hers? The rest of her was nothing to scoff at but with each breast nearly the size of her head it was obvious what turned everyone's head when she walked by. She didn't mind. In fact she relished the attention, making sure to add a little extra pop in her step just to ensure all eyes were on her at all times.
Today was much like every other day in that sense. It was the first really warm day of the year and Rachel had donned her favorite baby-t that morning. She opted to walk home from work rather than take a bus, just so she could bask in the glorious attention her endowments brought her. However, as she was halfway home she began to notice something a little unusual. The looks of adoration and envy seemed to be replaced by ones of confusion, disgust, and embarrassment. She even spotted a few people giggling and pointing at her when they thought she wasn't looking. By the time Rachel arrived back home she had begun to feel a bit self conscious.
"Heyo."
"Oh, hey Alex", Rachel greeted her roommate upon entering the apartment. There was a short pause as the other woman continued to focus on the T.V show she was watching. "Hey Alex, did I grow a second head or turn purple today?"
"No, I don't think so. Why?"
"Because everyone I passed on the way home from work was staring at me like I was some kind of freak."
"Everyone always stares at you like that!", Alex laughed, holding up her hands as to heft a pair of imaginary breasts like Rachel's. "Besides, I thought you liked that!"
"That's not what I meant. It was... *different* today."
For the first time, Alex turned her head from the TV towards Rachel and gave her a quick look up and down. "Oh," she remarked suddenly. "Yeah well, you probably shouldn't have worn a shirt that shows your tummy."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Well I didn't want to say anything but..." Alex trailed off, thinking how best to put it delicately, then simply resorted to placing her hands on her stomach and pantomiming it growing out like a balloon, puffing out her cheeks for emphasis.
Rachel wasn't terribly amused. "Okay look, I know I've gained a little bit of weight in the past month-"
"That's not what I'd call a little bit of weight Rachel!" Alex cut in. Rachel was left to ponder what she meant.
Perplexed and a bit annoyed, Rachel turned her eyes downward to look at her stomach, only to find that her breasts pretty much blocked the entire view of her lower body, no matter how far or which way she craned her neck. Her hands could find her stomach easily and while she could tell it was soft and a bit puffy she knew it couldn't be drawing too much attention. Not wanting to track down a full body mirror and seemingly unable to see her lower body any other way, she grabbed a breast in each hand and squeezed them close to herself, hoping this might allow her a view of her gut.
She hadn't even pushed her breasts back a few inches before she saw the pink crest of what could only be her belly, full and round like the sun rising over a mountain.
"AUGH!" Rachel yelped, ignoring discomfort and squishing her breasts tighter against her body to get a better view of the round, pink bulge of a full on potbelly. Her potbelly. "When the heck did *this* happen!?"
